The sandbox
A separate environment on the demo tenant: synthetic companies, fake sources, no billing.
What it holds
The sandbox runs on Karibu ID’s demo tenant: synthetic companies such as Demo Operating Traders Limited, Demo Pesa Payments Limited and Demo Community Water Trust, fake sources, no billing and no real personal data. Every Connect answer there carries "environment": "sandbox".
Its readers have invitations, tiering rules, relationships and decisions already recorded, so you can read each kind of answer before you build.
From sandbox to production
A platform reaches production only after a conformance run in the sandbox passes and two Karibu ID staff confirm it. The run checks a consent flow and its code exchange (consent_flow), a record read under a grant (grant_handling), no call under a revoked grant (revocation_handling), an Idempotency-Key on your writes (idempotency) and every endpoint accepting a correctly signed test delivery while refusing a forged one (webhook_signature).
