Verify a Karibu ID report or statement

Enter the number printed on the document. You will see whether it is genuine, whether it is still current, and when it was issued.

It starts with KS-, like KS-1234-5678-9ABC.

What this checks

  • The signature

    Karibu ID signs every report and statement. We check the signature against the key Karibu ID publishes.

  • The status

    Whether the document is live, or has been replaced by a newer version, withdrawn or expired.

  • The public log

    Every issued document is recorded in a public, append-only log, so it cannot be quietly changed later.

Verification confirms the document. It says nothing about the organisation itself: read the document’s findings, and use them as evidence in your own diligence.
